The Playwright & The Broadway
Sarah and I went to Southie after our class. We decided to go for dinner at the Playwright. We weren’t overly impressed with the food so we decided to head to The Broadway for dessert and a nightcap.
We decided to sit at the bar at Playwright. There was a big group of people there so it was pretty rowdy. We started with some drinks. Mine was tasty, Sarah’s was lacking the watermelon. We decided to just order appetizers for the night.
For food, we got some chicken tenders, nachos, truffle tots, and a side caesar. The tenders were good but had an unexpected kick. The nachos were ok, they were lacking toppings and nothing was really spread out. The caesar was ok and the tater tots were tasty.
At the Playwright, I got a watermelon orange margarita type drink and Sarah got the frose. The drinks were decent. For dessert, I got the chocolate cake and Sarah the apple streusel. The desserts were delicious and we even had leftovers. -E
